AWIA presents: Ideas4 with Lisa Herrod and Rachel Cook

The first AWIA event of 2008 has been announced – Ideas4 with Lisa Herrod and Rachel Cook.

Ideas4 will be held at the Melbourne Hotel in Perth from 7pm on Wednesday the 30th of January. It’s a casual event – a great opportunity to listen to some great speakers and network with your peers in a cool venue.

Lisa is a usability and accessibility expert and all round awesome chick based in Sydney. Among many other claims to fame, she’s one of the organisers of WebJam, and started the I Work On The Web meme late last year.

Rachel Cook is a local entrepreneur – the founder of Minti, social networking for parents, as well as a bunch of other cool stuff. Rachel has spent the past year in Silicon Valley with husband and business partner Clay Cook and she’ll be sharing some of her experiences.

Tickets are $25 for AWIA members and $35 for non-members. Full details and online bookings at the AWIA web site: IDEAS4.

The last 3 “Ideas” events have solid out so don’t leave it too long!

Ideas4 is sponsored by Aquent, Bam Creative and Fasthit (hosts of this blog!).
