Quite obviously, wasting time is all that anyone ever does on the internet anyway, but now it’s gotten much much easier with StumbleUpon.

It’s a toolbar – versions for IE and Gecko – that randomly pulls up sites that might be of interest to you, given the preferences you choose. I don’t normally bother with stuff like this, but I installed it last night and it’s amazing.

Two of my early serendipitous discoveries include:

• A Woman’s Guide On How To Pee Standing Up
• A History of Banned Music

both of which proceeded to consume inordinate amounts of time.
