Lucky Kay gets to go to Web Essen­tials in Syd­ney in Sep­tem­ber, and I’m pretty god­damn excited! I’ve been rav­ing about it over on my stan­dards blog which is where it really belongs, but I thought it was inter­est­ing to note that Jef­frey Veen will be run­ning a work­shop the day before it starts. Not that I can go, unfor­tu­nately. But it’s called “Design­ing the Next Gen­er­a­tion of Web Apps” and from the writeup it looks like it will be cov­er­ing usabil­ity and inter­ac­tion with RIAs and Ajax-powered apps. Looks pretty good.
