No Code
At work, I’m the Standards Nazi. I do site quality checking, help the other guys with their xhtml and css problems, distribute information on new techniques and how we can apply them. I now also do search engine optimisation.
If I ever get a free moment (I don’t) there’s some internal projects - including a cool ColdFusion project tracking system - that have been dragging on for nearly three years, which can use any attention I can throw at them.
What I don’t have time for anymore is client project work. Yesterday was the first time a major ColdFusion project was started in the office, and I wasn’t involved. All the people working on it went and had a long first meeting, and it was a really wierd feeling. I mean, I’m flat out as it is - I don’t have time for a single other thing. I certainly don’t want any more work. But it was strange to have a ColdFusion project starting without me. It used to be my thing.
Does this mean I’m not a coder anymore? *sob*
