MXDU Day 2 Final Q & A Session

The final session at MXDU was a big Q & A session. At one point I wasn’t sure if the stage would hold enough chairs, but they did manage to squeeze all the panelists on.

A whole range of questions - some “oldies but goodies” like “is Director dead?” (no) were asked and answered, but there were a lot of questions about Flex and Blackstone. I’d like to apologise to Ben Elmore and Tim Buntel for mentioning yet again that I hope Flex is not priced/licenced out of the reach of smaller developers - I just really wanted to get that point across!

Finally, Macromedia Australasia CEO John Treloar wrapped the conference up. He urged Australian and New Zealand developers to keep up the great work taking on the rest of the world. Aussie Aussie Aussie!

And I would also like to achnowledge Macromedia and especially Robin Hilliard for organising the CFAUSSIE RIA competition, which was how I got to MXDU this year. Thanks heaps!
