MXDU Day 2 Afternoon Sessions

This was what everyone was waiting for - well I was anyway - the Flex and Blackstone Technology Previews.

Both technologies look amazing and both Tim Buntel and Ben Elmore managed once again to not really give anything away - quite impressive considering the kind of questions that were being fired at them!

My favourite answer was Tim Buntel, when asked if native IMAP support would be added. He said something along the lines of “if I lost my laptop and you found it, you’d know the answer to that question. But I’m not going to tell you.” Hmmm… hard to tell, is that a “maybe yes” or a “maybe no”? It’s certainly been requested long enough.

At any rate, I got the impression that Blackstone will be released this year, and Flex sometime before Blackstone.
