The Web Directions Rumour Mill

I don’t know where he found out about it, but Lachy’s got a scoop on some of the speakers that will be at Web Directions.

The official Web Directions conference site hasn’t been updated yet, but Maxine promised that it would be on Wednesday… that was yesterday! Lachlan Hunt has posted something very official-sounding

According to the information I stumbled across, the workshops will be run by Jeremy Keith (DOM Scripting), Derek Featherstone (Accessibility), Kelly Goto, and Molly Holzschlag and Andy Clarke (Markup and CSS).

Sounds great so far, as does the list of speakers… the anticipation is killing me! I want details!

  1. I was pretty sure there was going to be a Canadian accessibility expert at WD doing a full day workshop. I was expecting it to be Joe Clark, after what John said in Perth. I was wondering if I could spend a full day with Joe without wanting to inflict physical harm. Derek is another matter, remind me not to go drinking with him.

    And Kay make sure your Saturday is free for shopping ;-)

  2. Specifically, what details would you like to know? I may see what else I can dig up, though I don’t want to spoil the surprise too much.

  3. Specifically, I think Nick wants to know if Jeremy Keith and Derek’s workshops are going to clash… as for me, I just want to know EVERYTHING!

  4. I believe the workshops will be:

    Day 1 (2006–09-26):
    * Molly Holzschlag and Andy Clarke
    * Jeremy Keith

    Day 2 (2006–09-27):
    * Kelly Goto
    * Derek Featherstone

  5. Thanks Lachlan, that’s awesome! Now I have to make some hard decisions :)
