I just woke up from 3 hours of sleep — last night we went to the mid­night pre­miere of Revenge of the Sith. I’m dog-tired and have to be at work in less than two hours but I couldn’t resist stop­ping to brag. It was AWESOME!

Even though the movie was very dark and very seri­ous, as Anakin Skywalker’s bro­ken body lay on the ground (c’mon, that’s not a spoiler, every­one knows the story) I couldn’t help a lit­tle voice in my head say­ing “we can rebuild him — we have the tech­nol­ogy!”. That’s prob­a­bly sac­ri­le­gious but made me giggle.

George Lucas is a genius and it’s true — you will for­give him for any wrong­do­ing, even The Phan­tom Men­ace and Jar-Jar. Star Wars is now com­plete. Dave says he can’t decide whether he likes it more than The Empire Strikes Back. That’s high praise!

So there you go — nah nah neh nah nah, I saw it first, yeah!
