How’s that for an opening sentence? It’s from the Web Essentials 04 conference, announced on the Web Standards Group mailing list yesterday. Yes folks, Dave Shea, Douglas Bowman and Joe Clark, at the same time, in Australia. That could be the best news I’ve heard all year.

The bad part? I have a snowball’s chance in hell of attending, even though it’s in my own country. I’ve already been to mxdu this year, and who’s stupid idea was it to build a house anyway?
